Esam oficiāli iesnieguši projekta pieteikumu IPB LEAF fondā (IPB Local Environmental Action Fund 2026), lai kopā izveidotu dabas izziņas un bioloģiskās daudzveidības stūrīti — “Taureņu, bišu un putnu pļavu”!
Mūsu mērķis ir radīt skaistu un izglītojošu vidi, kas būs pieejama ne tikai mūsu skolas audzēkņiem, bet arī visiem Tulovas un apkārtnes bērniem un ģimenēm. Tā būs vieta, kur ikvienam praktiski pētīt dabu, rūpēties par taureņiem, bitēm un putniem, kā arī mācīties vides aizsardzību.
Īpašs prieks, ka pļaviņā taps arī koka sols ar vēstījumu trīs valodās — angļu, īru un latviešu —, simbolizējot mūsu kopienas draudzību un valodu bagātību!

We have officially submitted our application for the IPB Local Environmental Action Fund (LEAF) 2026 to create a biodiversity educational space — “Butterfly, Bee, and Bird Meadow”!
Our goal is to create a welcoming and educational green space not only for our students, but for all children and families in Tullow and the surrounding areas. It will be a community space where everyone can learn about nature, care for pollinators and birds, and engage in environmental stewardship together.
We are especially proud that the space will feature a wooden bench engraved in three languages — English, Irish, and Latvian — celebrating our community’s diversity and unity!
